We are located in Playa Sámara, considered to be one of Costa Rica’s safest beaches. Playa Samara is a alluring beach on a long, horseshoe-shaped bay. Unlike much of the Pacific Coast, the water here is excellent for swimming because of an offshore island (Isla Chora) and rocky headlands that break up most of the surf. Samara and neighboring Playa Carrillo are easily accessible along a well paved road. Playa Carrillo is a palm-lined, white sand beach approximately three kilometers long and is unquestionably one of Costa Rica's Pacific Coast jewels. If you take a short drive along the coast in either direction you’ll come upon other truly spectacular beaches which feature excellent surfing, estuaries, and protected turtle reserves.
